New Swimwear Collection Summer 2021

Creativity, for me, is the way I express who I truly am.

Sometimes it can be difficult to find time for creativity, especially when you work hard just to pay your bills. But if you really want it, it is never impossible. Over the past year, I was fortunate to meet the right people at the right moment, and I felt very protected during the pandemic.

The Buddhist teacher Nichiren Daishonin said: “Casting off the transient and revealing the true.”

During lockdown, I had the opportunity to slow down and reconnect with myself, reflecting on what truly matters in my life. Thanks to my Buddhist practice, I was able to let go of what was not essential and reveal more of my true potential.

During that time, I realised how much I love working on creative projects: trimming and stitching a new bikini, designing a new fabric, imagining new patterns. In that moment, I made a promise to myself that I will never stop doing this, no matter what.

Honestly, how could we ever stop doing something when that “something” is simply who we are?

The creative process is the place where I can truly be myself. It is where I explore, challenge myself, experiment, and even make mistakes. Making a bikini is not only about creating a product for others—it is something that makes me happy. It is a process that starts from my heart and flows naturally into my mind and my hands.

It reminds me of planting a seed. With time, care, passion, and love, that seed will eventually bloom in spring. Creativity works in the same way. It needs patience, practice, and dedication.

When I look at all the pieces I created for this collection, I realise something important: for a long time, I was searching for love, happiness, and joy outside myself. But in truth, those things were already inside me all along.

I truly hope that when you see this collection, you can feel the love that I put into every small detail. I hope you sense the joy in the patterns I designed and the happiness in the colours I chose for each fabric.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported me along this journey.
Special thanks to two of my biggest supporters, Caterina Oppia and Ilaria Corda, for modelling and capturing these beautiful photographs, and to my lovely landlady, Flo, for helping me translate this text into English.

Please feel free to comment and share with me: what is your dream?

With lots of love,
