Book Cover – The Power of Now

I was tasked with designing a cover for a book. I chose ‘The Power of Now’ by Eckhart Tolle, which is a guide to spiritual enlightenment. I wanted to effectively convey the message of being present and savouring each moment.

Through the use of association words and visualisation techniques, I ultimately decided on incorporating the Italian quote ‘Dolce Vita’, which translates to ‘Sweet Life’ in English. This inspired me to feature a cake as a symbol of enjoyment and a candle to represent power.

By combining these elements, I was able to create a cover that captures the essence of the book’s teachings.
